2024 October – Ministry Update

Construction on our ministry house slowly continues we have finished the second dormitory that can sleep 10 people and 2 bathroom and shower blocks are finished, however WE STILL NEED the ceramic flooring for the bathrooms and dorms , a cost of $600 USD

Planning stage for multi use salon for youth camps and a meeting hall have been put on hold as the city requires some further land surveys, but we will make a simple shelter, or lean-to so we can be out of the weather and start holding events

Current Needs:

Currently we need prayer and finances for the ministry.  God has been faithful, no complaints, however giving has gone down since Covid and we have expenses to maintain our work.  Current need for a new generator at the missionary house ( UPDATE, a generator was Donated in August..   We also have two cars that are 22 years old and one has been pronounced dead.  We are in need of a vehicle that can make a 450-mile round trip through the mountain to bring back food and supplies from the capital city. and a used pickup to run around town in.

  1. Kitchen and area
    1. The kitchen area needs some finishing details such as a hood vent system for the stove as well as the patio floor ceramic installed.
  2.  property
    1. We need to build an entrance gate for security and  a retaining wall on the back side to keep the land from washing out on the property line.

Next Phase:

  1. To build a Multi Purpose area:
    1. we need a meeting place as well as some rooms for continuing education classes
  2. Expansion of the Existing building:
    1. a single room added on for pastors or leaders visiting the ministry

Long term plan

  1. To build small cabins which can be used to house staff:
    1. We often house short term mission teams, or missionaries passing though as well as pastors who come to town for a conference and need a place to sleep, but we also need staff to maintain and provide security on the land.  We are looking for churches to sponsor 4 or 5 cabins at a cost of $3000USD each.
